Carbonara for 4 (simple and wonderful...)
1 box Barilla Spaghetti
4 eggs (a general rule of thumb is 1 egg per person)
Pecorino cheese
Pancetta/lardons/bacon...whatever you can find.
Salt and Black Pepper
While bringing water to a boil add a lot of salt.
When water is boiling add in pasta.
While the pasta is cooking, crack the eggs in a bowl and add enough cheese so that the mixture is no longer liquidy. You will also want to pepper to taste.
Also, at this time you will cook the bacon or pancetta in a pan with a small amount of olive oil and black pepper.
When the pasta is finished (the time on the box minus one minute), drain it and quickly return it to the pot.
Add the bacon or pancetta and then pour the egg/cheese mixture over it.
Stir until the pasta is coated and serve.
Bon appetit!

I've made this carbonara and found it is not as easy as it seems! Be sure to drain the pasta well and have some extra parmesan on hand.
Erica,
Yeah, you really have to make sure the pasta is drained and that there is no water hiding in the pot. You will get it next time! Happy baking with Boofie!
